1. God is the center: To understand and obey the Lord’s will for our individual and corporate life is the reason we, who know God, exist. We are twice His; He is our maker and redeemer. We exist to love, worship and obey Him. He must always be the center of all we are and do. Colossians 1:17-18
2. God is the source: We believe that He has provided all that is necessary to obey his command to reconcile the world to Himself. All that we need for life and godliness are available abundantly in Him. God comes in power to reestablish the loving relationship He desires with His people. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11
3. The Body of Christ: We have been sent to serve the Body of Christ in this region. Unity and service to local churches and ministries in our area and around the world is a high priority. We believe that in Christ we are all one body. Ephesians 1:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27
4. The Scriptures: We embrace the entire Bible, old and new testaments, as God’s revealed Word describing His character and covenants with human kind. We hold the highest view of the Scriptures and rely on them for doctrine and guidance in all areas of life. 2 Timothy 3:15-17
5. Prayer: Much of the Kingdom and Will of God is only released through prayer. We work to support and empower this ministry through prayers of faith. Matthew 18:19-20
6. Leadership: Leaders must be servants who are submitting themselves to God’s will, not their own will or personal preference; dead to self and alive to God, establishing God’s Kingdom. Leadership will be based on proven character and spiritual gifts. 2 Timothy 2:2
7. The Supernatural is Natural: We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit: miracles, healing, signs and wonders, etc are normal and necessary for the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth and in our own lives. The Lord does these works through His people to confirm the truth of His gospel. 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 |
